Three trigonella seed fraction (2.2-2.5; 1.6-2.2; 1.2-1.6 mm) were observed under laboratory conditions. The following traits were observed: germination energy, germination, 1000-seed weight, length of rootlets and length of first leaves. Seed germination was tasted according to ISTA. Mass of 1000 seeds was significantly in seeds of the largest and the medium fraction. Length of first leaves was significantly in seeds of the small fraction (1.2-1.6 mm). Germination energy, germination and length of rootlets didn't express significantly differences.
